After Yabou Jinja ended its 3rd season, I took a break not long after from regularly checking their website for any updates but LO! I’m glad I caught up with recent news!

Finally, MikoRaji Volume 9 has a release date (December 22, 2008). Ever since Naba-sama and Shizu-sama posted about the planning in their respective blogs, I’ve been very much looking forward to it because I’m a sucker when they do gigs like this:

~CD Highlights~
“Holy Matrimony” between Nabatame Hitomi (groom) × Itou Shizuka (bride)

Chairpersons/MCs: Inokuchi Yuka (Shizu-sama’s pet), Nakao Eri (Shizu-sama’s worshipper big fan. Kinda hints why she’s very appropriate as Hanabishi Miki in Hayate no Gotoku)

Guests: Itou Miki, Ueda Kana, Ohara Sayaka, Kawasumi Ayako, Koshimizu Ami, Gotou Mai, Koyama Kimiko, Saiga Mitsuki, Satou Rina, Shitaya Noriko, Shimizu Kaori, Noto Mamiko, Hirohashi Ryou, Yamazaki Michiru et al.
The guest list is…as expected. Consists of people who are close friends and/or had healthy run-ins with the bride and groom one way or another. Inokuchi, Nakao, Ueda, Koyama, Saiga, Shitaya, Noto and Yamazaki were fairly regular guests on Yabou Jinja during its three season run. Speaking of fairly regular guests (through messages), wonder if Manmarumaru Hime (Naba’s mother) will send in a message of congrats. She adores the bride anyway, much to Naba’s chagrin sometimes whenever Naba and Itou have competitions in certain corners of their program. Wait… Where’s Watanabe Akeno???

Events:
Mini-sketch
The usual MikoRaji episode with Kei-oneesama (Naba) and Icchan (Itou).
Wedding Ceremony
It’s about time they make it “official”, ei? I’m a tad down I might have to spend money just to listen to this if I could get my hands on the CD. I wish they had made it a web radio episode instead, like what they did with Shizu-sama and Koshimizu’s mock wedding last time (Guess Naba-sama didn’t find out about this. And guess Naba-sama didn’t find out that Shizu-sama and Amisuke went on an onsen day-to in which they apparently spent most of their time admiring each others’ nude bodies).
Wedding Bells and Bouquet Toss
Instead of scrambling after the bouquet, everyone will probably be scrambling after Noto Mamiko…
Wedding Reception
Why do I get the feeling chaos is going to happen…especially when Naba-sama’s three mistresses (#1 Noto, #2 Shimizu, #3 Koshimizu) are there, along with Shizu-sama’s mistress (Koyama). Adding Ueda, Ohara and Kawasumi to the mix is just pandemonium.

Alas, the whole affair is still only for fun and fanservice but like all loser fans, I’ll lap it up. Time to find someone who can run over to Toranoana for me.

That’s right, Luke. Shut your insolent trap.

Oh gawd, watching this and the few previous episodes made me remember how unbearable the game got sometimes. I used to press the skip button all the time whenever Luke opened his mouth because I couldn’t stand his whiny b!tching. It didn’t help that Suzuki Chihiro was using the higher end of his voice spectrum. Too bad skipping dialogs is not possible in the Anime adaptation ==||. Am very relieved they made it to Yulia City before the series’ halfway mark as this will be the last episode where Luke acts like a self-centered twit from beginning to end. It’s finally time for a true hero to be born in the next ep.

I wouldn’t want this head trophy.
