The day itself is almost over for me lol. Anyway, currently counting down to Marimite Season 4. Really looking forward to the continuation of the story…and to see Shouko making her proper animated debut. Also, can’t wait to hear what kind of incidents Ueda Kana and friends have to report from the recording studio now that folks like Kawasumi Ayako and Inoue Marina have joined the cast. ^^

No matter how stereotypical this development is, it never ceases to amuse me. Mad props to Kuroko for grinning over the fact that her act was witnessed by others. One of the aspects I love about her is the way she likes to twist reasoning to get things done her way (such as during the scene when Mikoto offered to share her crêpe). And self-narration 4TW!! d(￣▽￣)

Harumi makes for another one of the more interesting characters if only for her deadpan faces and lack of self-awareness. This is the first time I’ve seen any female who is comfortable stripping in public due to an obvious environmental situation…that and without any hidden agenda.

Flag triggered! Too bad we won’t get to see any further exploration on this until maybe Volume 3.

This Manga is swiftly becoming my favorite of the year. Mikoto is ♥. Oyaji Kuroko is ♥ ♥!! Now if only they could turn it into an animated series…

ARIA The Illustration -Avvenire- Ad

From the 1st season, through the OVA, until the 3rd season, the copyrighted illustration book of the TV animation ARIA which was covered in 4 cours over a total of 3 years (periods) will finally go on sale in response to the request of fans!! DVDs, CDs, goods, games etc. related products’ illustrations will also be fully complete! (It will contain) All of the history of ARIA’s animation illustrations that was compiled, becoming an art print collection preserved for eternity!!!

The (front) cover’s illustration will be specially drawn by Amano Kozue-sensei!!

The promo ad popped up in November’s issue of Comic Blade together with the first chapter of Amano-sensei’s new Manga series, Amanchu!. So if you’re a collector of her artbooks, do be on the look out for it! ^^

The release date is December 24, 2008 and the price is ￥2,500 (incl. tax). Amazon Japan and other online stores are taking pre-orders. Sigh… It’s all too tempting as a Christmas present, but I’ll have to refrain until I get more money soon.

Happy Birthday, Itou Shizuka-sama!!

Sendai Eri could be the first one to greet Shizu-sama with birthday wishes since they’ve been spending a lot of time together rehearsing for their E.S.I. Live which will take place on December 27, 2009. Let’s just say it all began with a kiss, one thing led to another and the whole affair climaxed with rather amusing reactions from someone who was left “heartbroken” because the same bed and futon were no longer the meaningful things they shared only between themselves (but it’s great that someone is very forgiving and broad-minded lol). Anyway, besides the early surprise from the Dassuki gang, Shizu-sama received quite a number of birthday cakes from friends as well as fellow colleagues/staff members and of course, a specially mentioned message of congratulations from the “husband”.

Here’s to another new chapter of her life, and may it be filled with wonderful voice-acting, off-screen hijinks and saucy scandals!

PS. I should have posted this earlier. It’s almost 2 days late. Maybe I should learn to refrain from presetting dates in draft posts. ><
