“Cursed” in that her pure mind was defiled. ;)

Yui has to change the strings every few weeks if she plays the guitar as often as she does, more frequently so considering she almost certainly doesn’t wipe the strings and fingerboard each time after being done for the day. I have a friend who works as a professional guitarist/music producer, and he changes his guitars’ strings every day due to the amount of time he spends performing/recording, which is a good 5 to 8 hours daily.

“…But if you give me Mio gift-wrapped and let me have my way with her for 24 hours, I might reconsider.”

The staff may be more worried of getting in the company president’s line of fire if he finds out they squeezed the full fee out of his daughter. Still, I would have preferred if Mugi used her Glare of Death. ^^

I want to know too, Kyoto Animation.

To be honest, it felt kind of awkward watching all of this unfurl. Comparing this with the Manga, I found Ritsu to be quite OOC throughout most of the episode’s 2nd half. She feeling jealous of Mio spending time with Nodoka is one thing, but she was behaving overly mean to Mio regarding the whole issue (though I assume Ritsu was trying to get Mio’s attention?). Ritsu aside, Mio isn’t without fault either. She was acting strangely immature in the way she angrily retorted when Ritsu tried to drag her out of the store. Maybe it’s only me, but I found her abrupt annoyance at Ritsu to be uncalled for, given the latter was only doing a sensible thing in the first place. I’d welcome lovers’ quarrels and dorama anytime but Mio getting easily peeved just like that was a bit of a weak reason to use as a trigger for building tension between her and Ritsu. Sigh… Maybe I’m just being a grouch that the writers decided to play with the idea of having two very likable characters act like temporary spoilt brats (in the srs sense) when they were originally not. And yes, we can say it’s due to PMS lol.

…Then again, if said dorama leads to a kiss and make-up session between them, then uh…I may turn a blind eye. Gah… Whenever developments like this happen, I can’t help but abide by the principle of “百合に絶対服従”.

I love this student council president. Fat chance of KyoAni unmasking her this season but I still wish we’ll get the opportunity of seeing her in all of her “hidden desires” glory one day. Blu-ray/DVD extras?

One crisis after another. Despite the unexpected turnout of events, I agree it has a better flow as to how Yui became sick, instead of her catching the cold because she was spending the night in her yukata costume (which could possibly happen if Sawa-chan made it extra thin).
Nmm… A mixed bag episode. I did enjoy most parts and I’ll give credit to the writers for trying to crunch out their own filler material for the Mio × Ritsu conflict. I still think it was odd though, more with how the problem started rather than the overall problem itself, but I like the way the quarrel was resolved in the end. Next week is already the final episode. Fans who read the Manga would know what the live performance was like but I’m wishing KyoAni would take an original approach into giving us a grand finale to the TV series, at the very least, concert-wise. It doesn’t matter if the live turns out bad or great. What’s important is that it should be memorable as a keepsake to remind us what K-ON! is all about :). But er, here’s hoping Yui won’t be singing with a runny nose or something.
Rajion! Corner
>> Oho~ Wrt being in the same shoes as Ritsu, Satou understands Ritsu’s feelings of jealousy and she does similar things IRL by meddling in other people’s activities, trying to get that close friend to pay attention to her and treat her in a special way. Toyosaki teases her that she’s definitely the type who would pick on the person she likes. Hikasa on the other hand, quietly sulks about it. The girls think Toyosaki gets along well with whomever she meets anyway, whereas Kotobuki playfully admits while she gets on with everyone she meets, she may act a bit of a show off whenever her close friend is concerned.
>> “FUWA☆FUWA Time” Take 2, finally.
Satou has gotten pretty good with the drums compared to how she was a couple of weeks ago. She even improved from last weeks’ duet with Hikasa, whose bass I can hear clearly now contrary to before. Continuing from last week’s topic, it’s too bad Toyosaki and Kotobuki cleverly diverted the topic of the challenge Satou and Hikasa threw at them i.e. the melody team have to perform “FUWA☆FUWA Time” and prove to Satou and Hikasa they deserved to brag about playing their parts correctly. Until next time then?

ugh…. i jus watched this episode and i didn like how ritsu was behaving. she went too overboard.
