Don’t ask me what on earth is that stuff Takagaki Ayahi concocted at the end :p. All I know is:
1. She was supposed to make a pancake.
2. She forgot to add eggs earlier but dumped it in later anyway (She thought the eggs were for making sunny-side-ups).
3. The finished half-cooked “cake” looked like a 3D representation of something you’d see in Kobayashi Yu’s sketchbook.
Can’t blame Shiraishi Ryouko for quipping that even okonomiyaki looks better than whatever Takagaki made. Gotta give credit for the latter’s positive thinking though lol. Anyway, the video was an episode from Stacha-Chick!, a StarChild WebTV series hosted by said two seiyuu in 2008. This ep was mostly about Shiraishi promoting her Hatch single, but Takagaki’s amzng cooking skills ended up stealing the limelight as usual (For folks who haven’t seen her nikujaga challenge, I recommend it ;) – Part 1 and Part 2). I wanted to upload and write about the ep which had Takagaki eventually whipping up an okonomiyaki (with almost disastrous results) but as my stupidity and ignorance had it, my external hard disk decided to die on me one fine day and I forgot to back up the data. Well, there goes my work of collecting Anime and seiyuu TV shows over the past years. ><
Oh wow, I’m surprised they actually dared to eat it…AND SURVIVED!
And oh gawd those Nikujaga videos were funny! Can’t believe Ayahi forgot to turn on the stove AND even put the lid upside down! That was so cute/funny~

And man, I know how it feels to lose stuff you took time to collect. My PC needed to get reformatted once [virus infection], and I didn’t have an external for backup and lost everything I had, from music to anime. ”’orz
Managed to find most of the stuff, but not everything. Hope you can regain most, if not all, of your stuff.
I kinda feel sorry for the chef but it seemed like he had a great time. I love his reactions lol. He couldn’t stop laughing and even asked whether they were really broadcasting all of that on (web) TV. XD
I managed to salvage some of the files but most were lost due to widespread sector damages. Well, I’ve learned my lesson now. Gotta have at least two external HDDs. ^^

LOLZ Ryouko’s reluctance was clearly written all over her face. I love her deflated reaction at the beginning when Ayahi said she’s going to make pancakes and Ryouko was like “Uhh… (Is this gonna be okay?)”. Speaking of their experiences – NO. XD
Sometimes I do wonder whether Ayahi’s mom really spoil her by telling her that she doesn’t need to do anything while she’s at home or that her mom is too worried to let her do anything at all which could lead to a domestic disaster.
Anyway, I managed to save a number of my radio shows but otherwise, my TV shows were all gone. ||OTL

Hahaha yes, no casualties there! And that was after Ryouko told her the correct direction of turning on the stove. What I found hard to believe was the way Ayahime tried to scoop the contents out of the saucepan for tasting and she couldn’t get anything past the narrow gap between the lid and pan.
Takagaki: I can’t take it out! I should make the opening a little bigger, shouldn’t I?
Shiraishi: Sensei is seriously laughing. *lol*
Chef: Are they really broadcasting this on TV?
