I’d vote for Yuu-tan to do that action when she performs the song in upcoming Maria†Holic live events, if there are any more. ^^
Anyway, the visuals are…disturbing. Creative but disturbing. Typical Director Shinbo-style in terms of comedy. I suppose yuri fans may see the opening as anti-yuri, much like how the premise itself is viewed in the same light by most. Guess it depends on how you interpret it. ;)
As for the song, Kobayashi Yu once again delivers what she’s famed for, and that is “unique” personality in her performances. Sometimes I wonder whether her peculiar OTT enthusiasm is a result of her habit of swallowing spicy things whole. ^^;
On a last note, I’d like to hear Kitamura Eri do a cover of HANAJI. :3
